Chris Kelsch

Your Candidate for Norwood Council for Ward 1

I am a 2006 graduate of Norwood High School, I am a father, a husband, a dedicated coach, and a proud homeowner in Norwood Ohio.

Upon graduating High School, I served in the United States Army where I was promoted to Sergeant at two years of service, shortly after becoming Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for the National Security Agency in 2011. I served for four and a half years with a top-secret security clearance and earned many awards for my outstanding leadership and service.

In 2012 I returned home and immediately became involved with my community coaching youth wrestling and began coaching football and baseball in the years following. I have coached sports in Norwood for 8 years and most recently coach Middle School Football, Wrestling, and Varsity Track.

In July 2018 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship with a Minor in Small Business Management, I am currently working towards a Master's of Education in Special Education.

With my experience in leadership roles along with my education and dedication to our beautiful community I hope to become one of many helping hands that will work together in restoring Norwood to the city we know and love.
